Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to follow Jesus.
Throughout the New Testament, we see people respond to the good news of Jesus by putting their faith in Him and being baptized. Baptism is a public way of saying, “I have decided to follow Jesus.”
At Forefront, we believe baptism is an important next step for anyone who has made the decision to follow Jesus.

WHAT IS BAPTISM?
Baptism is a picture of the new life we have in Jesus.
Going under the water represents leaving behind our old life, and coming out of the water represents the new life we have because of Jesus. It’s a powerful opportunity to celebrate what God has done in your life and share your decision to follow Him with your church community.
Baptism doesn’t make you a Christian or earn your salvation. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Baptism is our response—a step of obedience that publicly declares the decision we’ve already made.
